The launch of Farmington & Company coincided with her parallel role as an instructor of agriculture communication courses at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Hailing from the Central Valley of California, Elisabeth's upbringing revolved around a highly diversified production agriculture operation. This steadfast connection to her agricultural roots endures to this day, as her family continues to oversee the farm and ranch, an enduring legacy spanning six generations.
